Casting
Both myself and Chris desised that for my main character we would use Kirean Parish again, the Actor we used in our AS main production. He fits my character very well being a well composed actor who takes suggestions and intrusions well. He is also very organised and usually has spear time in which he said he would use in our production.
We did however need to cast and Actor as Troy. We chose someone which we had used before on one of our shoots called Todd Parsons, he played a very convincing angry character in Chris's preliminary task even though in real life is very subtle and quiet, perfect for the part in our new production. He again is well organised and actually helped me and Chris with lighting in our main production last time.
Felix, the dealer and Douglas however we would have to look further afield, we needed someone strong willed and quite well built to play the dealer and two weaker characteristics to play Douglas and Felix. To en role the Douglas we desised to ask around and see who would be interested in possibly being in our production, we then took these people one evening after school and decided to hold auditions.
(following is the winning audition video)
We chose someone called Chris maundreal who was very confident however quiet timid, we chose him as we thought he would fit Douglas's role well and produce an interesting character who juxtaaposes the other more confident characters.

Update
Over the past week, my self and Chris finalised our ideas of both of our plots so we can interlink the characters together. I also changed my main character's Name to Jeff Esta (known formally as just Esta in the production), his characteristics however haven't changed.
In the last week I have also started on my first script draft. I had to work closely with Chirs on this task due to the interlinking story lines and characters, however we think we have got the chain of events sussed. I also just. I will link my first draft of the script to my blog in the next post. I have also recently started today my shot list. i will complete it this week, and then carry on to making the shooting schedule.

PITCH
Today I presented the pitch of my production. The pitch had to be no longer than two minuets long and had to engage the audience which mine did successfully, i received little negative criticism and a positive response to mine and Chris's interweaving characters. I produced the presentation on power point.
Mr Shepard however had one question and that was "how do you plan in getting the story told within thin the five minuets", I responded with clever editing and many subliminal messages to tell the story with minimal dialogue.
